Meet Stephen

Sorry, “Jack,” whoever you are, but we’re officially upgrading the title to “Stephen of All Trades.” For the past 15 years, Stephen has been a one-man powerhouse, crafting a wide range of visual effects and motion graphics for clients like Mastercard, Nickelodeon, Nestlé, Revlon, Breville, IBM, McCann Health, NBC—everything from Armani to Zales.

His work is showcased on nearly every major television network and in event spaces ranging from MGM Vegas properties to lobbies of New York skyscrapers. If you’re lucky, you might even catch it on the massive array of Times Square Jumbotrons, dazzling camera-snapping tourists. Stephen is a Swiss Army knife, but twice as sharp. He is currently freelancing and feels privileged to be working with some of the most talented creatives and artists out there.

Before Stephen transitioned to freelancing, he worked at the creative/post production studio, Nutmeg. He joined Nutmeg in 2007 and was its Director of Motion Graphics and VFX from 2014 to 2017.

At Nutmeg, Stephen worked as a designer, visual effects artist and animator for various types of media. His work spanned the project timeline from development, pre-production, production, post-production, through delivery. His roles included, artist, consultant, director, coordinator, researcher and quality control. Part of his job description was to stay abreast of the latest trends in design and the latest techniques/technology.
